My career in the building trades started in 1992 specializing in floor covering. For three and a half years I installed hardwood, tile, carpet and linoleum. In 1996 I moved to the Bay Area in California and began working with a remodeling contractor. In the beginning it was just two of us working on small projects such as a bathroom remodels, decks, fencing, retaining walls, and the occasional small kitchen remodel. Each stage of the project was inspected by a city inspector to ensure building codes were upheld. We performed every trade needed to complete the project, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

In the early 2000s through 2022 I was with the company leading crews on higher end kitchen remodels, additions, full house remodels, and ground up A.D.Us. I was fortunate to get such a diverse education in design and the trades working alongside a variety of architects, designers, engineers and specialized contractors.

In 2022 my wife and I felt it was time to move our family back to the Midwest. We are all very happy to call Central Iowa home.
